Reminder that nominations for TWU Local 579 Executive Board Members (Vice President and Member-at-Large) will take place next week during the Special Assembly.
Meeting Details:
Time: 13:00 –15:00 EDT (or until the last nomination is cast, whichever is later)
Platform: Zoom (Registration opened July 15, 2026, at twu579.org)
All nominations must be submitted through the Special Assembly, and self-nominations are not permitted. As a reminder, this is a Special Election to fill two vacancies conducted in accordance with the TWU Constitution and our Local 579 Bylaws.
Additionally, all members are kindly reminded to review and update their personal information on the twu579.org website.
